Certificate Programs in Bioinformatics

Bioinformatics is the application of computer science theory and methods to molecular biology. The Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics offers training in bioinformatics leading to either a Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics or a Capstone Certificate in Bioinformatics:

Graduate Certificate - For students currently enrolled in medical science or biological science graduate programs at UW-Madison who are interested in bioinformatics training

Capstone Certificate - For UW-Madison post-doctoral fellows and employees of Madison-area companies working in molecular biology who are interested in bioinformatics training
