General Departmental Seminar Series
Finding Functionally Important Sequences in Genomic Data: 3 Stories
Peter Bickel, PhD,
Professor, Dept of Statistics, University of California-Berkeley
Friday, March 26, 2004, 12-1 p.m.
1420 WARF Building, 610 Walnut St.
I'll discuss methods, findings and lessons in 3 collaborations with molecular biologists and statisticians:
Finding "important" sites in protein sequences.
Identifying binding sites in yeast.
