The program has the following course prerequisites: Math 222 (Calculus) or approved equivalent and Computer Sciences 367 (Programming and Data Structures) or approved equivalent.

Also, the program requires a minimum grade of B for each course taken through this program.

All program and graduate school submission requirements must be received before application can be considered.

Deadline for Receipt of Application Materials

October 15 (for Spring Semester)

March 15 (for Fall Semester)

 

United States and Permanent Resident Applicant

Submit to Bioinformatics Admissions Committee
Submit to Division of Continuing Studies
  • CV/Resume
  • Statement of purpose (one-page essay)
  • 2 letters of recommendation (one letter should come from current supervisor)
  • Photocopy of electronic application
  • Official transcripts or academic records
  • List of awards, honors, and/or publications
  • GRE scores (will also accept MCAT)*
  • Record of residence (if claiming WI residency)
  • Permanent residents need to submit a copy of both sides of the resident alien card

  • TOEFL scores
  • Original financial support documents
