Capstone Certificate in Fundamentals of Clinical Research
Admissions Requirements and Procedures

To be eligible, students must have a B.S. in an Allied Health area, Nursing, Pharmacy, Clinical Nutrition or a related area. This Capstone program initially targets residents and medical fellows, and may serve as a core portion of the requirements for those in the Clinical Investigator Preparatory Program.

All students must register with the Division of Continuing Studies to be considered for admission in the Capstone Certificate Program. This certificate does not require GRE scores.

 

Application Procedures: applicant must complete both steps one and two to be considered for admission.

Submit to Division of Continuing Studies
Submit:
  • Photocopy of electronic application
  • Photocopy of offical transcripts from each institution attended.
  • Statement of Purpose: a one page essay describing how the program relates to the applicant's current research and career plans
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • CV/resume

Deadline for Receipt of Application Materials

October 15 (for Spring Semester)
March 1 (for Fall Semester)

Receipt of your application to the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics will be acknowledged. Accepted students will be notified within 60 days of the application deadline.
